“I’m excited, happy, and I feel like I’m in a good place in my life. My boyfriend and I are very supportive,” Cardi B said on CBS Mornings with Gayle King on Tuesday while promoting her new album. She said her due date is February 2026.

The 32-year-old rapper humorously added: “Remember to buy my album so I have enough money to buy diapers for my baby. I just want to share this news myself at the right time. I don’t want to hide it from you guys.”

The baby is Cardi B’s first child with NFL player Stefon Diggs, but her fourth. The WAP singer already has three children with her now-divorced husband, rapper Offset. Cardi and Offset had an on-and-off relationship that lasted from 2017 to 2024. During their time together, the couple welcomed daughter Kulture, now 7, and son Wave, 3. When she split from Offset last year, she was pregnant with her daughter Blossom and gave birth in September.

Cardi B started dating 31-year-old Stefon Diggs earlier this year. In May, the two made their relationship public with a sweet display at a basketball game. Offset is said to be upset with his ex-wife’s new relationship and has mocked Stefon several times on social media.

In June, Cardi B accused Offset of being an irresponsible father, leaving her “on the hook for all the child support for a year,” after he demanded alimony. The rapper also revealed that Offset had not seen his children since March and had only seen his youngest, Blossom, five times.

Offset, for his part, told the AP that he has “moved on,” and his new song of the same name reflects that spirit. “It was great while it was still going on,” Offset said. “But now we both shouldn’t talk about it anymore. It’s closed like an old book.”
