On Tuesday, October 28, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined the crowd to watch Game 4 of the World Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Meghan showed off her team spirit in a blue Dodgers hat, while Harry later put on his own Dodgers cap.

The 44-year-old paired dark-colored pants with an oversized white button-up shirt, while Harry wore a black blazer over a white T-shirt and dark pants.

The pair cheered on Meghan’s home team from their prime seats, which happened to be right in front of legendary former Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax. However, while the royal couple attracted plenty of attention, some fans seemed even more impressed by the baseball icon.

One admirer of the sport wrote, “More interested in the classy gentleman behind them, Mr Sandy Koufax, a true Legend!” Another joked, “Royalty is sitting BEHIND Markle and Harry.”

Sandy had a brief but legendary baseball career. His journey began with a basketball scholarship to the University of Cincinnati in 1953, where he initially planned to pursue a career in architecture.

After just 12 remarkable seasons, Sandy retired from the game at 30. In 1972, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, becoming the youngest player ever to receive the honor — a fitting tribute to his successful career.
